Combines cap construction and vertical sidewall construction into one concept. Sidewall material can be adapted with different hardnesses to change the behavior of the ski and improve edging power. The ROSSITOP cap provides exceptional rebound.
F.I.T. (Feminine Intuitive Technology)
Our True Colors program employees a team of women that help create specifically developed product for women. Feminine Intuitive Technology (F.I.T.) specifically addresses women's anatomy and expectations.
What makes women skiers different? Feminine centers of gravity are positioned lower and further back. The physical force of women is different from men's. Rossignol's F.I.T. concept improves her stance and strengths to maximize performance.
F.I.T. (Feminine Intuitive Technology) is based on two concepts:
- F.I.T. construction: Uses two distinctly different fibers in the core to reduce weight without loosing performance.
- F.I.T. integral system: Specific interfaces engineered to adapted to women skiers. The F.I.T integral system provides women with a natural forward mounting position which optimizes the distribution between tip and tail. The Plate is a specific shape for easy turn initiation and precise control. The TPI2 W allows for tool-free binding installation and boot size adjustments.
For Women Lightweight Binding
Saphir bindings are one of the lightest on the market. Developed for extreme ease of use. Built with lightweight composite materials to aid in easier turn transitions, which makes skiing effortless and makes carrying skis a breeze!
H Structure
Two front and two rear ribs are connected under the foot creating an "H" structure. The plate, combined with the ribs, directs power from the skier to the front and rear edges of the ski. This drives greater pressure to the edges of the ski, to maximize hookup at the beginning of the turn and power at the exit. The connected middle provides stability and easy transitions from turn to turn. The Visco insert dampens vibrations to smooth out the ride. |
Lambda Plate
The Lambda plate is solid in the front for more leverage and easier turn initiation, while split and ramped in the heel for balance compensation and a smoother release out of the turn.
Oversize
Combines two ski construction ideas: carving skis with large sidecut, and wide-waisted freeride skis. Oversize takes the benefits of both shapes and crosses them, allowing for strong performance with ease of control. The aggressive oversized tip & tail dimensions of the carving ski produce precision, strong edging, and power. The wide waist dimension of the freeride ski increases stability and helps tame the strong sidecut. This ski offers extreme manageability and comfortable control from turn to turn.
TPI2 W
Women's specific tool-free integrated ski/binding system. Individual toe and heel control beams combine in the center with VAS (Visco material that absorbs vibrations). The two individual control beams are shorter and lighter than the unisex beams, and allow the ski to flex naturally, maintaining a fluid feel. The TPI2 bindings simply slide onto the two control beams for tool-free adjustment.
VAS - Vibration Absorbing System
Visco elastomer material integrated into the ski's construction to dampen vibrations, adding greater control, stability, and contact with the snow.
