Guided Soft Adventure Tours
These tours are designed to show Banff and the special areas with as little impact as possible, reduce vehicle traffic and give you the chance to enjoy the mountains from a bike – and so that you can stop and smell the roses!
Your Tour can be a combination of several different loops and vistas and include Interpretative talks from your Guide. We can offer you very easy rides with lots of Interpretive information, harder rides with more rewarding vistas, remoter locales, but with few interpretive stops or any combination in between. It’s your choice and can be established as you go.
1) Sundance Canyon Bike and Hike
Price: $94.95/person (includes with a Picnic Lunch)
This is an exciting outing that you past the Cave & Basin National Historic Site and along the Bow River to Sundance Canyon. At the canyon you lock up your bike and go for an easy 1 Km walk through the canyon and the surrounding forest. There is a great picnic area at the canyon or along the river on your way back that you might choose to stop at. Added stops include the Cave & Basin and the numerous Beaver ponds along the way. An easy yet adventure filed outing for your family or group.
2) Around and About Banff
Price: $75.00/person (6 person minimum) Picnic Lunch an additional $20.00/person
This is very much an easy tour with just one short hill at Bow Falls and includes some of Banff’s best scenery. The ride will take you along the Vermillion Lakes with its excellent bird life, including eagles and ospreys, and then over to Bow Falls and the Golf Course Loop. Bow Falls is a scenic viewpoint made famous in the movie River of No Return.
3) Lake Minnewanka Loop
Price: $75.00/person (6 person minimum) Picnic Lunch an additional $20.00/person
This is a 16K loop that will take you along a quiet road to the largest lake in the Rockies, Lake Minnewanka, and also past the ghost town of Bankhead, past Two Jack lake, and if time permits, Johnson Lake. This is a moderately challenging ride and does have a number of hills that will have you using all the gears on your bike. The ride makes an excellent 1.2 day tour and there are lots of places to stop and walk around , take photo’s and have also have a picnic lunch. Bring your camera!
From the marshes along the Vermillion Lakes or viewing the Back Side of Tunnel Mt. from the Golf Course Loop, Surprise Corner and Bow Falls, or Lake Minnewanka and the old Bankhead Community, you will see parts of Banff up close and personal so bring a camera and get some of that Fresh Mountain Air in your lungs! Ideal for families, Group of Friends or Incentive Groups!

- Group size is a minimum of 6 up to 40.
- Minimum costs are: $75.00/person for Guide and Bike
- Lunch can be added to any Guided Tour for $20.00/person extra.
- 48 Hours notice needed to provide Guided Tours.
